Today was one of my New York managers birthday... my second experience celebrating a birthday in the NY office. Our unofficial party planning committee commenced on Monday - something told us this guy wouldn't fall for the usual surprise parties that are thrown. I mean it starts to get suspicious when there was one just the other week.
Instead one of the girls picked up balloons from Brooklyn and dropped them off at my apartment. E and I then snuck the two blocks back to work in the middle of the night and hid them in his office.
Was worth it in the morning when we managed to surprise him!
