It was so cold that on our way to Arlene's Grocery we had to stop off at Duane Reade (pharmacy) and warm up. Then again at Starbucks. Potato had his first ever Starbucks coffee:
Fanastic band - definatley worth braving the cold for! Very cool stuff.

Arlene's Grocery
Friday night the plan was to go and see Noodle's cousin's band (The Morning Code) play at Arlene's grocery. First stop was dinner (no Hipster dress code this night). It was warm out so we opted for the Shake Shake (famous New York burgers) at Madison Square Park... outside. Mistake... the burgers and shakes were amazing... but it wasn't that warm that we should have been eating out doors. Nice setting though, in the park, fairy lights. Everyone (me included) was complaining about the cold though.

Needless to say it took us a while to get to our destination. But we got there just in time, the first band was finishing and Morning Code was setting up. We squeezed our way to the front.
